2010 Lincoln Town Car's signature chrome grille has always stood for
the refined character and confidence shared by Lincoln vehicles
and their drivers. Now adorned with a new Lincoln star hood ornament
that stands at attention, the chrome grille captures the bold
new look of the 2010 Lincoln Town Car as well. The 2010 Lincoln
Town Car also offers Standard Quad-beam, jewel-reflector halogen
headlights, which are 60 percent brighter than most dual-beam
headlights. Available on 2010 Cartier models and standard
on 2010 Lincoln Town Car Cartier L, high-intensity discharge
headlamps provide brighter, whiter light and virtually last the
life of the vehicle. Inside, the Town Car features even more elegance.
Interior amenities include: new American walnut burl and satin
nickel accents, power-adjustable foot pedals, analog clock, Alpine
Audiophile System, dual-zone electronic automatic temperature
control, 8-way power front seats, and an electrochromic rearview
mirror, which has a rearward-facing sensor that detects glare
from the headlights of the vehicle behind you.
The
2010 Lincoln Town Car isn’t only refined, it’s extraordinarily
powerful. All 2010 Town Cars are powered by a 4.6-liter, SOHC,
V-8 engine with two valves per cylinder and a dual exhaust. 2010 Lincoln Town Car Signature and Executive series drivers will
notice the 19-horsepower and 22 pound-per-foot increase in engine
capacity, with 239 horsepower at 4,900 rpm and 287 pounds-per-foot
of torque at 4,100 rpm. A host of reengineered performance features,
including front suspension, gives the 2010 Town Car noticeably
enhanced ride and handling, as well. Advancements in the independent
short- and long-arm front suspension contribute to significantly
improved ride quality, while revised rear monotube dampers are
mounted further outboard, contributing to the luxurious ride quality.
A new rear stabilizer bar is fitted to all Town Cars, while self-leveling
air springs maintain a constant ride height regardless of vehicle
load
