restraints control module, safety belt pretensioners, driver's
seat position sensor, dual-stage front airbags, front safety belt
usage sensors, energy management retractors, front crash test
severity sensors and manual three point lap shoulder safety belts
with D ring height adjusters, third row 3-point lap / shoulder
belts for outboard passengers, lap belt for center seat position
standard on all 2011 2012 Windstar models. Also available
side airbags help protect a front occupant's head and chest in
certain side collisions which will inflate to suit the seating
position you are in (standard in the Windstar Limited and an option
in all other 2011 2012 models).
Available
on the new 2011 2012 Ford Windstar minivan is the advance
trac stability control system which makes use of computerized
antilock brake technology to modulate the rotation speed of each
wheel under conditions that could cause a loss in traction and
helps the mini van to stay on the road.
All 2011 2012 Ford Windstar vans come with the 3.8L V-6 features a
splitport induction system that helps balance the need for economy
during normal operation and more power output and sequential electronic
fuel injection, multiple port.
Standard
on the new 2011 2012 Ford Windstar Limited minivan is a Class
II Trailer Towing Package which includes a heavy duty 78 amp hr
battery, full size spare tire, and trailer tow wiring (available
on the 2011 2012 Ford Windstar SEL).
