There
are 3 available engines for the new 2009 Ford Mustang.
The base engine powering Ford Mustang is the 190 hp, 3.8Ltr OHV
V6. The engine features splitport induction, which helps optimize
fuel use, and easyflow cylinder heads with hightech piston coatings,
which help increase horsepower. Of the 2 engines available on
Ford Mustang, the 4.6Ltr V8 is the most powerful. Delivering 260
horsepower and 302 lb ft of torque. The single overhead cam design
helps provide power output at a higher rpm and is designed for
those who tend to push their vehicles to the limit. New for 2009 for the Mustang, only available on the Mustang Mach 1,
is a 4 valve, DOHC 4.6Ltr V8. The engine makes use of specially
calibrated cams, a modified upper intake to accommodate the ram-air
system, a forged crank (cast crank in automatic transmission application)
and performance exhaust manifolds to produce more than 300 horsepower.
The new 2009 and for next year's 2009 Ford Mustang is the popular
Pony Package Interior Upgrade for drivers who are looking to dress
up the interior of their new Mustang Bulitt door lock soldiers,
Bulitt pedals, Cobra 4 way head restraint and a Mustang GT leather
shift knob.
New
Ford Mustang audio options for 2009 include an MP3 player
(One of the many stereo options available in Mustang is the versatile
AM/FM stereo with single CD and MP3 player which will play up
to several hours of digitally stored music) and Mach 1000 System
(available MACH 1000 Sound System includes 1140 watts of peak
power through 8 premium speakers and 2subs and an AM/FM stereo
with in-dash 6-CD player).
Available
on all new 2009 Ford Mustang models is an optional Interior
Upgrade Package which includes aluminum finish door lock posts,
grey metallic finish on center panel and shifter bezel, leather-wrapped
shift knob and aluminum shift boot trim ring (manual transmission
only), and stainless steel footrest/pedals (Mach 1 keeps the aluminum
shift knob).
The
new Mustang available MACH 460 (2009 ) sound system includes
460 watts of power through 8 premium speakers and an AM/FM stereo
with in dash 6 CD player.
All models
of the new 2009 Ford Mustang comes with power locks, power
windows and power deck-lid release.
