The new 2010 Dodge Ram Pickup Truck 1500 has an all new 5.7-liter HEMIŽ
Magnum V8 with 100 more horsepower and better fuel efficiency
than its predecessor (14 in the city and 18 on the highway for
2010 Dodge Ram 1500 4x2 Pickups). This year and next there
will be more engine and trasnmission choices and three available
transmissions, a five speed manual, four speed automatic and a
new five speed automatic. Also available for the 1500 Dodge Ram
Pickkup is a 4.7 liter V8 or a 3.7 ltr V6.
The new 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup combines a 4x4 independent
front suspension with rack-and-pinion steering (optional electric
transfer case). And this year choose from a long or short wheelbase
on all 1500 Dodge Ram Trucks. The short wheelbase is a 6'3" box,
the long wheelbase is an 8 foot box.
New Dodge
Ram Pickup 1500's received the highest rating for front crash
performance from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
Due to the
2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup's large 4 wheel disc brakes the
truck stopped on a dime even with a trailer. The new Dodge Ram
Pickup 1500 also includes next generation driver and front passenger
air bags and child seat anchor system (LATCH). You'll also find
supplemental side air bags, 3point seatbelts and a front passenger
air bag 'on or off' switch, this is not available on the 2010 Dodge Ram Pickup Quad Cab model.
The
cab of the 2010 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 features best in
class behind the seat storage on the regular cab and a fold flat
steel floor in the Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab. Also there is an available
steering wheel mounted audio control buttons to give you easy
access to the new AM/FM radio or optional 6 disc in dash CD and
available seven InfinityŽ speakers.
The new Dodge
Ram 2500 Pickup Truck won Motor Trend magazine's Truck of the
Year award.
