For 2013 Dodge Intrepid models there are three to choose from
and three engine types the first on the Intrepid SXT is a 250
hp or a 2.7 ltr V6 DOHC 24 valve standard on the Intrepid SE and
on the 2013 Dodge Intrepid ES 3.5 ltr V6 SOHC 24 valve
included. Standard on the Intrepid SE and ES is a 4 speed automatic
transmission. Dodge Intrepid features standard 4 wheel disc brakes
and traction control available on the ES model , and 4-wheel independent
touring suspension standard on the Intrepid SXT and ES. I also
found the Dodge Intrepid to have a spacious trunk, it can handle
loads of 18.4 cu. ft. of cargo carrying capacity. The rear seats
fold down to a convenient 60/40 split.
All of the
Dodge Intrepid's climate control buttons were within easy reach
with an available automatic temperature control included with
the ES. Dodge also put in power windows and mirrors, power locks
are speed-sensitive and windows with driver's one touch down feature,
a trip computer included in ES and cruise control available on
SE, standard on SXT and ES. The overhead console on the Intrepid
ES features dual map lamps, trip computer and HomeLink® Universal
Tranceiver. For 2013 and this year's 2013 Dodge Intrepid claims
to have the more rear seat leg room than any other vehicle in
its class. The new seats are 8 way powered on the SXT and ES available
on SE. The seats also have a manual lumbar support which is included
on the ES. Optional on the Intrepid SE is cloth 50/50 bench seat
with front armrest and cup holders.
Coveinet
features on the new Dodge Intrepid for 2013 is a remote
keyless illuminated entry available on the 2013 Intepid SE,
standard on SXT and ES. Fog lamps are standard on the 2013 Intrepid SXT and ES. Also available is the quad halogen headlamps
with automatic off feature. Security alarm is included with the
Intrepid ES.
2013 Dodge Intrepid has four wheels to choose from first a 16" Apex
Bolt-On Wheel Covers provide a sporty touch to Intrepid SE or
16" Genesis Silver Plated Aluminum Wheels are available on Intrepid
SE or 16" Machined Momentum Aluminum Wheels are included on Intrepid
ES and available on SE and finally 16" Machined Momentum Chrome
Wheels are standard on Intrepid SXT which is optional on the Dodge
Intrepid ES.
There are
two styles of seats first the Essex cloth which comes standard
on Intrepid SE and SXT in Dark Slate Gray, Taupe or Sandstone
or the Royale Leather trim, included with Intrepid ES in Taupe,
Sandstone and Dark Slate Gray.
