The new 2010 Chevrolet Malibu offers a 170 HP V6 Engine as a standard.
Chevy's Malibu provides quick response at highway speeds when
you need to and the engine is designed to be driven up to 100k
miles before the first scheduled spark plug replacement. The headlights
will automatically turn off in case you forget to this will also
happen with the interior lights when the car has been sitting
with the ignition off for 20 minutes. The Direct Ignition System
eliminates the need for periodic engine timing adjustments and
the V6 engine in every Malibu gives you highway gas mileage that's
more like a four cylinder estimated MPG 20 city and 29 on the
highway.
The
new 2010 Chevrolet Malibu offers available leather seats
(LS only). The power driver seat on the Malibu LS features 6 comfortable
driving positions (not available on the Malibu sedan). Both models
come with rear heat ducts and solar ray tinted glass which is
made with special filters to help block harmful UV rays. The solar
ray glass on the windshield and rear window helps to keep you
cooler when the weather is warm and block out damaging UV rays.
Both offer Chevy Malibu's offer theatre style seating for the
backseat passengers, this allows the back seat to sit higher than
those in the front for a better view. The tilt wheel steering
column is easy to adjust and offers five angles to choose from.
The steering wheel can also be tilted to the top position to provide
additional leg clearance making it easier to get and out of the
LS and Sedan Malibu's.
Air Conditioning
on 2010 Chevrolet Malibu's is always standard. For storage
the Chevy Malibu has a center console which features convenient
dual storage compartments for coins, CDs, cassettes and other
small items, it easily accessed by simply raising the entire armrest
reveiling the storage compartment. The top half can accommodate
things like sunglasses and serves as an armrest when closed. The
new Malibu door locks can be programmed to automatically lock
or unlock when shifting in and out of park. And to help protect
you from locking your key in the vehicle the driver lockout feature
stops the driver door from locking when the key is in the ignition
and/or the door is ajar. If the power door lock switch is pressed
all the doors will lock and then the driver door will unlock when
the door is closed. Chevrolet Malibu has power windows which includes
a driver's express down window. Malibu's split folding rear seat
enables you to carry items that may be longer than the length
of your trunk, the 60/40 split still leaves room for one backseat
passenger.
