The
new Cadillac 2008 DeVille comes in three trim levels,
the DeVille, DHS and DTS. All new DTS is powered by a 300-hp 4.6-liter
V8 engine. The Cadillac DeVilles power-steering senses the speed
of the vehicle and adjusts for the effort you'll need to turn
the wheel making it easier on the driver. The new 2008 DeVille has a system that automatically levels the vehicle to
compensate for additional onboard weight, when you're carrying
extra passengers and luggage the DeVille will maintain its original
height.
For added
convenience the new 2008 Cadillac DeVille
will be equipped with an available voice activated DVD navigation
system that will communicate with the driver of passengers audibly,
giving you directions and interaction. The Deville's seats (DTS
and DHS) are heated and fully adjustable. The front seats are
equipped with a massage mechanism. The first time you adjust the
driver's seat and exterior mirrors, the DHS will program your
settings, DeVille DHS will remember your preferences and set them
at the touch of a button.
Entertainment
and comfort in the CadillacDeVilleoffers passenger control of
their own temperature, and temperature control for the driver
and front passenger. The DHS or DTS offers available XM Satellite
Radio with 100 channels organized into 17 neighborhoods. Including
coast-to-coast digital reception. DeVille DHS and DTS are the
only vehicles in the world with available Night Vision which will
show you what's infront of you before your headlights can by reflecting
a transparent image on the front windshield above the steering
wheel. At first I thought this would be a big distraction but,
after test driving the Cadillac DeVille DTS, I found that it was
effective and unobtrusive. The available Ultrasonic Rear Parking
Assist System can pick up certain stationary objects directly
behind you, it will notify by a series of beeps how far away the
object is.
2008 Cadillac DeVille DHS and DTS has programmable interior features
which will give you the ability to set preferences for door lock
operation activation and operation of the perimeter lighting system
and passenger mirror curb view available with the memory package
2008 .
