Buick's
Regal GS's 240 Horsepower supercharged V6 Engine performs swift
and has an on-demand acceleration. While the 2010 Buick
Regal GS has a 3800 Series II Supercharged V6 it will deliver
240 horsepower and 280 lb-ft torque with an EPA estimated fuel
economy of 18 mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway. The Regal
LS also delivers performance with a 200 horsepower 3.8-liter 3800
SFI Series II V6 engine, and standard on LS is the SFI Series
II which offers an EPA of 19-mpg in the city, 29-mpg on the highway.
Standard on Regal LS is also the enhanced traction control which
will monitor the rotation of the front wheels during acceleration.
When the system detects wheel spin in a particular wheel due to
a slick surface, it applies the brakes to that specific wheel
until traction is regained.
Standard
on 2010 Buick Regal GS is a full-range traction control
which helps sense drive-wheel slippage and reacts by automatically
modulating the brakes and reducing engine torque until the driver
gains control of the vehicle. This maximizes traction on snow
or ice.
The available
220-watt MonsoonŽ premium audio system provides power and clarity
through a multichannel amplifier and 8 speakers.
