Here's the
basics;
For
safety the 2008 Acura NSX models offer a 4-channel Anti-Lock
Braking System with Traction Control System (or TCS), drivers
and front passengers air bag, and Acura's Supplemental Restraint
System (also called by Acura the SRS) side-impact door beams for
added protection necessary to prevent high impacts of higher bumpers
(SUV's, Trucks). Sitting in a NSX offers the driver added security
with a 3-point seat belt with automatic seat belt tensioners.
Fully adjustable steering column (tilt and telescoping) included.
Comfort and
convenience was a concern of mine before entering the 2008 Acura
NSX's cockpit. Here's what I found, Leather-trimmed seats, 4-way
power drivers and passenger's seat adjustment, full-length center
console with coin box and beverage holder and full carpeting in
cargo area.
The 2008 Acura NSX comes in two gear levels an six speed manual
which gets a estimated fuel mileage or 17 city 24 highway, the
4-speed automatic achieves 18 miles in the city while getting
an impressive 24 on the highway, not bad for a lot of engine.
The new Body
Type of the 2008 Acura NSX is an All-aluminum unit body. The front
suspension is an independent aluminum double-wishbone with coil
springs, stabilizer bar with compliance pivot and the rear suspension
is an independent aluminum double-wishbone with coil springs and
stabilizer bar.
